*Note: The Hindu term “maya” (not real) suggests that the only reality is in the finer reaches of the cosmos near the source (Brahman, God, Allah….), and that what we experience here on Earth is mostly an illusion. For the past 300 years, our sciences have excelled at quantifying our material universe—the realm of maya. Now, quantum physicists and string theorists are adventuring beyond maya into the greater cosmic mysteries, and here’s a glimpse of what they’re likely to find along the way.
Measuring maya
Two cars colliding at an intersection prove that two solid objects can’t share the same space. That’s why we have stoplights. That two solid objects can’t share the same space is basic science. Using stoplights is applied science.
In the spirit worlds, sharing the same space is the normal way of life, since “space” as we know it doesn’t exist beyond the physical realm. Spirits remain distinct by their vibration, not their location… which seems a little spooky to us. They have a different physics in their worlds (which we’ll explore in a moment. Meanwhile…).
Case in point: spirit face photos.

If you’ve seen my spirit face photos here in the States, or Sonia Rinaldi’s amazing pictures in Brazil, it becomes evident that when we explore beyond the material realm, many principles of science—the concept of “space,” for example—begin to vanish. Pictures like those suggest that the entire cosmos is superimposed over itself, beyond time and space, in a way that science is just starting to understand, thanks largely to quantum mechanics and string theory.
Conventional science, with its scientific methodology, “tunes out” much of those hidden worlds that flourish around us… and lots of good (but inconvenient) evidence of spiritual reality gets tucked away in closets and forgotten archives.
Case in point: the spirit voices captured by Russian-American scientist Waldemar Bogoras a century ago.
This case is especially interesting to me as an ITC researcher because his recordings were the first well-documented ITC contacts ever made. (ITC, or instrumental transcommunication, is the use of modern instruments to get in touch with the worlds of spirit.)
In 1901 Bogoras took along an early recording device to visit a Chukchi tribe in Siberia. In a series of recording sessions, the shaman was in one corner of a large tent, beating a drum and turning in circles in a trance-like state, performing a spirit-conjuring ritual. Bogoras was in the opposite corner, and the phonograph was in the center of the tent recording the sounds. Voices of spirits—some American, some Russian—came across loud and clear in the recordings. The howling of a spirit wolf was also caught on the recording cylinder.
Here’s a link to a couple of short excerpts of the Bogoras recordings.
These recordings are not easily accessible to the public, requiring special fees, forms, and permissions to use for selected purposes. The complete set is owned by the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, on file in the Archives of Traditional Music at the University of Indiana in Bloomington.
These are just a few examples of other-worldly evidence that sometimes gets buried by science, sometimes because it doesn’t fit with the current scientific model of the cosmos.
Exoplanets and the prospect we’re not alone!
We search for life outward… out into the material universe of stars and galaxies. We would have more success searching in-beyond, into the timeless, superimposed cosmos that flourishes with spiritual and extraterrestrial life.
.
Senses, sciences, seers, and the search for truth
Science takes us on a wondrous journey beyond the five senses, using telescopes to search outward into the vast universe of galaxies and black holes… and using microscopes to delve inward into the puzzling realm where particles become waves… where matter and energy have an identity crisis.
Next leg in the journey will take us into the vast, timeless cosmos where our universe is just one of countless universes that are all superimposed over each other. It’s a realm seen by mystics—an eternal realm of spirits, light beings, and “extraterrestrials.”
(The pulled-apart diagram to the right shows the vast, superimposed cosmos that’s created and nourished by an endless sea of life-energy brimming with vitality, consciousness, and refined motivations.)
At the center of it all is a source (God, Brahman, Allah…) that emits a steady stream of life-energy (also called AUM or holy spirit) that creates and nourishes everything in the cosmos.
Real peace for us humans comes only from understanding and acknowledging the presence of the source as the ultimate reality, adapting it to our lives, and behaving accordingly.
.
Science and NDEs
Near-death experiences, in which a person has a sensation of leaving the body, are typically ventures into the spirit worlds, for better or worse.
Better? We sometimes find ourselves in a bright paradise world before we wake up revitalized.
Worse? Our near-death excursion sometimes takes us into Earth’s dark shadow, and we come back frightened and confused.
Sometimes the spirit simply stays close to the body and observes it from above… for example, when a patient dies for a few minutes on the operating table before being resuscitated.
Scientific explanations for NDEs, as brain anomalies, overlook the big cosmic picture.
.
Physics on Earth and in spirit are worlds apart
Physics on Earth is built largely around matter, energy, space, time, and gravity… and how they affect and comprise everything we can perceive in our material universe, from the very small (subatomic particles and waves) to the very large (galaxies and black holes).
Scientific principles at the edge of the frontier include quantum physics, string theory, emergence, entanglement, non-locality, dark matter/energy, gravity (the perennial mystery), and black holes. Together they suggest that Terra is just one of many physical and spiritual worlds—many versions of each other—that are superimposed over each other, sharing the same “space” at this particular “time.” In a nutshell:
- String theory suggests that quantum particles have copies of themselves (waves of different vibration in a sort of multidimensional string) in as many as 7 parallel (superimposed) dimensions, suggesting a superimposed cosmos.
- According to quantum theory, when two particles become entangled, they share certain physical properties and behaviors even when far apart from each other, suggesting that things are conjoined when they are “spiritually” resonant.
- Non-locality is based on the phenomenon that waves and particles can change when we simply observe them, suggesting that life-energy (the consciousness of the observer) is a creative force.
- Some 95 percent of our material universe consists of dark energy and dark matter, simply meaning that we can’t perceive it. Hence the word “dark.” So most of reality is beyond our perception and understanding.
- Gravity defies certain natural laws that apply to the other three basic forces (electromagnetism, weak nuclear force, and strong nuclear force), and it seems to originate from somewhere beyond our material universe, a place where the laws of earthly physics don’t apply. Gravity is the weakest of the four fundamental forces here on Earth, but it’s so inconceivably strong along the borders of a black hole that it bends time and space.
- Black holes (again, “black” simply means they’re beyond our perception and understanding) suggest that there’s a vast cosmos of other universes (which probably exist beyond time and space in subtle, superimposed realms), and those parallel universes exert a constant pull on the structures and energies of our universe, beckoning them in-beyond toward those finer realms.
Understanding those realities at the frontiers of earthly science might someday give us a better understanding of the spiritual composition of the cosmos.
A subtler “perfect physics” throughout the living cosmos seems to operate on simpler principles that are based largely on life-energy (or consciousness) and resonance. As I see it…
- Life-energy in its purest form is the perfect, nonvibrating essence of the source that creates and nourishes everything everywhere with vitality, purpose, truth, love and other motivating forces that we might call “perfect consciousness.”
- As it leaves the source, the life-energy begins to devolve—vibrating slower and slower—as it moves into denser realms that become increasingly complicated and illusory. In other words, the perfect consciousness of the source becomes imperfect as living things adapt to their worlds and universes.
- Again, life-energy (or consciousness), whether perfect or imperfect, is the primary force that creates, shapes, and nourishes everything throughout the cosmos, for better or worse.
- Resonance occurs among entities when they vibrate in harmony with each other’s consciousness, wherever they happen to be in the cosmos, whatever attitudes happen to be wrapped up in the consciousness in that particular world at that level… as told to us in a (very faint, unfortunately) spirit communication through a radio receiver in 1994:
“It can only work when the vibrations of those present are in complete harmony and when their aims and intentions are pure.” A message received by radio in Luxembourg from the spirit of the late Latvian psychologist, Konstantin Raudive. Here’s a link to that audioclip of Raudive’s spirit voice on radio.
- Everything in the cosmos knows innately—somewhere deep within—that the more we can resonate with perfect consciousness of the source, the more we’ll enjoy vitality, purpose, truth, and love. Everything yearns to realize its oneness with the source and to forge a conscious connection.
.
Energies on Earth and in spirit are worlds apart
Potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, longitudinal, transverse, sound, radiant, chemical, gravitational, nuclear, subtle….
So many kinds of energy! To put them all into perspective for this article I had to juggle them until they fell into three neat piles:
- Earthly energy includes sound waves and ocean waves (sometimes called physical or mechanical waves). They travel at various speeds, and they vibrate molecules (and other material things like water) from the outside, by pushing-pulling-pushing-pulling them into wave-like patterns that produce energy.
- Universal energy (better known as electromagnetic energy) includes radio waves, microwaves, light, and X-rays. They carry photons as they travel through the physical universe at the speed of light. They vibrate molecules from the inside, by passing through the atoms, energizing their electrons, and making the molecules vibrate… radiating energy. Photons have a “wave-particle duality,” meaning they can exist as either matter (particles) or energy (waves)… which suggests that they’re at the border of the spirit realms, where matter ceases to exist.
- Cosmic energy (what I like to call “life-energy”), is the essence of the source that manifests everything in the cosmos. The various forms of life-energy travel instantaneously through all dimensions and universes and vibrate other life-energies. They don’t seem to vibrate matter, though—at least not easily—since matter and its particles only exist (or seem to exist) in dense physical universes like ours, where life-energies apparently get deformed or deflected to a large degree… somehow.
Maybe it’s possible to understand and measure all of these energies in familiar ways—for example by their amplitude, wavelength, and frequency.
In any case, energy (and existence itself) seems to be mostly about waves and vibrations.
Well, with one major exception: Pure life-energy (I believe) has a wavelength of zero and a frequency of infinity. That pure, nonvibrating, immeasurable life-energy exists only in the source that’s at the center of everything, creating and sustaining the entire cosmos.
This article (#01) takes a close look at all those energies, speculating on how we might better understand life-energy nowadays thanks to our knowledge of light, sound, and other familiar energies… and vice versa: how our understanding of life-energy might be able to teach science a thing or two 🙂 about the familiar energies of our world.
.
Space and time on Earth and in spirit are worlds apart
This philosophical look at space and time is really about dimensions and vibrations…
- how dimensions and vibrations define reality throughout the cosmos,
- why we experience them here on Earth as space and time, and
- how our spirit friends experience dimensions and vibrations differently.
Dimensions
The word “space” can stir up lots of images in our mind. It might make us think of the vast reaches of outer space, the living space in our homes, a parking space, a space between words or musical notes, or so many other things. But science provides the benchmark: space exists in our world as three size dimensions—width, height, and depth… plus a fourth dimension added by Einstein: time.
As a simple demonstration, imagine a ¾-inch ice cube on the kitchen counter. It’s 2cm wide, 2cm high, and 2cm deep. (2 x 2 x 2 = 8.) So the ice cube takes up 8 cubic centimeters (or 8cc) in the three size dimensions of “space.” Then imagine it melting as it moves through the “time” dimension, eventually becoming a puddle of water.
So… 4 dimensions (under the weight of forces like heat and gravity) help to define the reality of our day-to-day, structured world.
How many dimensions are there, really?
String theory scientists look for universal principles that apply to everything beyond our day-to-day world, from the biggest things we can see through optical instruments (stars and galaxies) to the smallest things (subatomic particles). If there are principles that define the behavior of both very big things and very small things, then those principles would give us a unified understanding of our entire universe. Unfortunately, so many peculiar things happen up there among the stars and down there among the particles relating to space and time, that it’s simply impossible to find common ground in a 4-dimensional universe. Only when the string-theory physicists allow for 11 dimensions (10 space-size dimensions plus time) can they start to formulate equations and theories that make sense.
So, the general consensus among string theorists is that our physical universe has 11 dimensions. We can perceive 4 of them, while 7 dimensions remain hidden from view. Only then, when we account for at least 11 dimensions, does our nested physical universe (systems within systems within systems…) seem to make sense.
Note: Our spirit friends apparently agree with the string theorists. The “Timestream” community of spirits told our INIT group (in a computer text in 1996): Space-time consists of eleven dimensions, of which only four can directly be perceived by you. The other seven (compact) dimensions exist and are present in a vanishingly small scale in your universe. They are rolled together to the topological equivalent of light tubes whose diameter lies within quantum limits to determine the size of Planck’s length…. When these tubes “unroll” a little or open (during ITC contacts, for example) the constants are momentarily changed. Also, time ceases to exist. This can occasionally be dangerous.
However…
Throughout the cosmos, dimensions are probably infinite in number. It’s only here in the material realm (level 1) that we’re confined to 4 or 11 dimensions. As long as we accept structure and matter (buildings, galaxies, molecules, ice cubes….) as fundamental aspects of the cosmos, we might not get much deeper into the real multidimensional aspect of things. For that we need to move beyond matter and structure into the realm of waves and vibrations.
Vibrations

Everything in the cosmos is separated from everything else, not by distance and not by time… but by vibration.
A vibrational cosmos, in which everything is jumbled together in the same space, is not an easy thing to visualize, but it helps to imagine how ethereal beings close to the source see it. Apparently, everything—every person, planet, galaxy, and universe—has a unique vibration, and the ethereal beings can perceive those different vibrations, recognizing each as an individual entity.
Then come the hard questions.
- What’s the true nature of those inconceivably complex life-energy vibrations that forge everything?
- Can we measure them?
- How does everything morph from the source (in-beyond of level 7) all the way out-beyond to the fringes of the cosmos, here at level 1?
- Assuming that each entity in the cosmos has a unique vibration, what qualities of their life-energies allow them to resonate with some entities but not with others? (read more… )

Protecting Earth from the wrath of Marduk

Millions of asteroids clutter up our solar system, most of them forming a circle, or asteroid belt, around the sun out there between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. But many asteroids have left the belt to drift freely among the planets, so there’s a perennial danger of Earth being struck by a vagabond asteroid, causing massive destruction.
I’ve come to the firm belief that all those asteroids are shrapnel from the obliteration of a Saturn-sized planet called Marduk (or Eden) that used to be in that orbit. Marduk was destroyed some 4 billion years ago by the advanced technologies of its superhuman inhabitants. The only survivors of that explosion were explorers from Marduk who had colonized Earth. There’s plenty of good evidence to support that mind-boggling theory.
So, today what remains of the ancient physical planet Marduk (which circled the sun between Mars and Jupiter) include:
- the asteroid belt and free-ranging debris that litter our solar system since the destruction of the mother planet, including the massive Oort Cloud that engulfs our solar system like a shrimp in a whale…
- the spirit world Marduk, which is a subtle copy or template of the physical planet that once flourished with life in a paradise environment…
- the ancient gods, including the one who was once called “Marduk,” many of whom still monitor our world from the finer realms of spirit…
- countless legends about our ancient heritage, all woven together from truths, half-truths, and imagination—ranging from religious texts that even today inspire millions, to science fiction novels and movies that stir our hormones…
- ancient megaliths and old stone tablets dug up by archaeologists,
- and the constant threat of global upheaval in the event some of the asteroid shrapnel collides with the Earth.
.
Asteroids pummeled Earth for 2 billion years
Science is closing in on Marduk (or Eden). In 2012, scientists published two reports in Nature providing solid evidence that Earth was bombarded by asteroids on a steady basis for half its known lifespan—from 4 billion to 2 billion years ago… a much longer stretch of time than previously believed.
.
Was Planet Marduk Located in a Triple-Star System?

My time as an INIT member (1995-2000) was a time of miracles. Our International Network for Instrumental Transcommunication (Luxembourg members Maggy and Jules Harsch-Fischbach, in particular) received a flood of information from refined spirit worlds through our computers, telephones, radios, TVs, and other modern devices.
Among the many things our spirit friends enlightened us about was their paradise world, which they call Marduk or Eden. I’ve come to believe that their world is a spiritual copy or astral template of a physical planet Marduk, and that Marduk was most likely a Saturn-size planet in our solar system, located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, where the asteroid belt is today.
But then I got to thinking…
They made it clear that their world has three suns—they even sent pictures—so I started to wonder if the physical Marduk that’s associated with the astral world Marduk might be a planet in a triple-star system such as GJ 667C.
That possibility boggled my mind for several months before I finally recalled that our spirit friends said that their three suns are really higher beings whose life-energies sustain their world, which is patterned after physical worlds like Earth… a sort of subtle, virtual copy of a physical planet. There’s one primary sun and two supporting suns that shine on Marduk. So today I’m fairly confident that Marduk was a physical planet in our solar system, and its astral form is sustained by three higher beings.
(Then, years later, it occurred to me that all of the suns and stars up in our sky might actually be higher beings as they manifest here in our physical universe. That mind-boggling possibility isn’t part of the original Marduk-in-a-triple-star-system article, but it’s got me scratching my head….)

Symbiotic Relationships Across the Cosmos
Terra has a complicated, maybe unique symbiosis (the ways living things get along with each other). Evidence suggests that most of the cosmos flourishes on relationships that are win-win and live-and-let-live… what scientists call “mutualism” and “commensalism.”
Most Earth relationships are that way too—at least the finer ones are—but we also have to contend with various kinds of win-lose scenarios, such as parasitic, predatory, and competitive relationships. It’s those win-lose relationships that stir up fear and malice—creating Earth’s spiritual shadow and setting Terra apart from just about every other world in the cosmos. There’s some pretty good evidence to support that… not just evidence of blissful spiritual realms flourishing in countless spiritual universes, but also of vast extraterrestrial civilizations in our own galaxy that are kind and respectful and work tirelessly to get planetary civilizations like ours to join them.
Why haven’t those galactic civilizations already invited us to join them? Simply because the fears and doubts and animosities that spin out of our troubled relationships make it impossible. We don’t resonate with their calm, peaceful way of life. If we can ever become a win-win, live-and-let-live world without parasites, predators and competitors, we’ll be able to join the great civilizations.
Meanwhile, Terra will continue to be a rare world of love and beauty blemished by struggle and strife.
.
Science preps for a quantum leap
Since Newton, science has been preoccupied by what’s going on in our physical world and universe, which comprise just a very tiny part of the larger cosmos containing countless universes in many dimensions. These universes and dimensions are all superimposed over each other, separated not by time or space, but by vibration. There are encouraging signs that science is starting to get glimpses of the cosmic picture, which could lead to a major shift.
.
An Ancient Timeline
First it should be mentioned that timelines of this scale are nebulous, since time itself is illusory. The information below is a best guess (but I believe it’s fairly reliable), based on:
- Messages received from The Seven ethereal beings through ITC systems (which I believe are completely reliable),
- History and science (the most accurate current information devised by human minds and supported by physical evidence),
- Religion, especially the paradise “Eden” story of western religion, the 4-billion-year “day of Brahma” of eastern religion, and the knowledge of spirit realms held by most major religions,
- Solid physical evidence such as ancient megaliths and Ica stones that might contradict mainstream science and religion, and
- Frontier science, which explores beyond the limits of mainstream science.
So here’s the general timeline:
13,700,000,000 (13.7 billion) years ago. The material universe was formed.
4,000,000,000 years ago. The destruction of Planet Eden (a Saturn-size planet between Mars and Jupiter) caused the Late Heavy Bombardment, in which meteoroids and asteroids pummeled the planets and moons in our solar system, decimating life and leaving craters. Life on Earth ( including Edenite colonists) somehow survived the cataclysm… maybe sitting on the opposite side of the sun from Eden during the explosion? Whatever the case may have been, thus began a tenuous time for the brilliant superhuman caretakers of paradise Earth amid a heavenly onslaught of planetary debris.
2,800,000,000 years ago. Intelligent life was still flourishing on Earth, as suggested by grooved spheres found in precambrian strata in South Africa.
600,000,000 (600 million) years ago. Humans were still walking the Earth, as suggested by a fossil found in Utah. It appears to be the print of a primordial (or at least pre-Birkenstock 🙂 ) sandal stepping on a trilobyte.
365,000,000 years ago. Mass Extinction #2 occurred.* The paradise conditions brought to Earth by the original Edenites came to an end. In a 1987 ITC contact received by Maggy Fischbach of Luxembourg, The Seven told us, “The animal consciousness has been forced on humanity, humans themselves are not bad. Prior to the last ice-age men lived peacefully together, man with man and man with animals.” So, before the Paleozoic or Karoo ice age began 360 million years ago, the Edenites, long stranded on Earth, were still living at peace with each other and with other living things.
*A Mass Extinction is an event on Earth in which more than half of the living species die and the planetary ecosystem is transformed… typically (and arguably) caused by shrapnel from Eden that had been swirling around in our solar system since the explosion of Eden, before colliding with our planet.

250,000,000 years ago. Mass Extinction #3—the largest in Earth’s known past—formed the Wilkes-Land crater in Antarctica. This Mass Extinction event (#3), and another (#4) that happened 40 million years later, together set the stage for dinosaurs to emerge on the planet. That’s apparently when Earth became a contentious world, with predators, parasites, and competitors all struggling to prevail, as suggested by ancient carvings dug up last century—Ica stones in Peru, and Acambaro figurines in Mexico. Apparently dinosaurs were a major headache for our superhuman ancestors.
65,000,000 years ago. Extinction Event #5 created the Chixculub impact crater in Mexico and caused dinosaurs to die out, but by then brutal drama had become ingrained in the planetary ecosystem.
In an ITC contact received in 1996 by Maggy Fischbach as a computer text file, the The Seven reported:
Long, long ago when humans came to Earth from Eden (or Marduk), they lost mastery over nature after their dissension with the serpent…. Humans had to fight against nature and some of its most dangerous creatures. You call them monsters, but they were only life forms which defended themselves and their kind. These creatures did not subject themselves to the intellectual superiority of humans and had to be defeated and destroyed by cunning and strength. Human civilizations prevailed… We know that many among you will not believe us. This does not bother us. We know that this is how it was. Today you may consider it science fiction, but you too will one day, once more, recognize its validity.
1,000,000 years ago (give or take). Then came the dawn of what was probably the First Epoch* of modern humanity—the emergence of Atlantis.
*The Second Epoch would begin later in Babylon—just a few thousands of years ago—emerging from the rubble of Atlantis. And today we are approaching the “End Time” of the Second Epoch, an event that is apparently choreographed to some degree by finer spiritual forces to try to restore some of the paradise qualities of Eden that were lost in the age of dinosaurs.
In a computer contact, The Seven reported:
The “fall of Man” is a legend handed down from Greek mythology. It was maintained by the “Mysteries” and found its way into the schools of philosophy during the Greek classic period. Humans were considered to be descendants of Titans who had killed the young Dionysus-Zagreus. The burden of this crime weighed heavily on them. In a writing by Anaximander it is said that the unity of the world was destroyed by a prehistoric crime. In reality, these legends are based on a factual incident: the downfall of the civilization you often call Atlantis (also known by other names). This downfall was brought about by the descendants of the last inhabitants of Marduk who became marooned on planet Terra. This downfall came through reliance and blind trust in a massive technology.
In a nutshell, the Titans were superhuman descendants of the superduper 🙂 Edenites… and they made some terrible mistakes.
Reader Kate in England informed me that, according to the legend, the Titans killed and ate the young god (Edenite?) Dionysys-Zagreus… suggesting that the “fall of man” might trace back to a human heritage that came out of Atlantis, in which living things on Earth began to supplement their inherent life-energy by stealing life-energies from each other through predatory, parasitic, and competitive behavior. By the time of Atlantis, apparently, these behaviors were ingrained in human culture.
This ancient human timeline is mind-boggling, but it’s what makes the most sense to me at the moment, based on the evidence… if you use Occam’s Razor to cut away all the theories that don’t fit the evidence.
.
Atlantis—Science May Be Closing In
A series of ITC contacts have convinced me that Atlantis was located in the North Atlantic, with its capital of Basileia near modern-day Helgoland, and science may be starting to look in the right directions.
First, the ITC contacts:
From the ethereal being Thfirrin, one of The Seven (click here for the journal with the complete contact on page 6):
Long, long ago when humans came to Earth from Eden (or Marduk), they lost mastery over nature after their dissension with the serpent…
Ancient legends about the Fall of Man) are based on a factual incident: the downfall of the civilization you often call Atlantis, also known by other names. This downfall was brought about by the descendants of the last inhabitants of Marduk who became marooned on planet Terra. This downfall came through reliance and blind trust in a massive technology.
From our spirit friend Swejen Salter (click here for that journal, then see page 5):
Project Sothis started 20,000 years ago. Its final phase took place in Atlantis. Basilaie was the king’s island in an empire that sank in the middle of the 13th century B.C. It was located east of Helgoland. Diving expeditions have meanwhile located in the waters of a boulder field the ruins of manmade walls.
The Atlanteans were not necessarily the kind of people that many of you imagine. They did have a great culture, but they also had a great fleet that attacked and robbed the Mediterranean countries…. Warrior sailors (had) long swords, horned helmets, ships’ bows built like the neck of a swan….
Then, from a recent scientific report:
Long ago there may have been a land bridge linking Norway and the British Isles, according to geologists studying sonograms taken by oil companies. The plot of land shown in the diagram was drawn from the sonograms. (click here for that story)
This particular land mass found recently by the geologists is buried a mile below the seabed, so it probably sank into the ocean some 56 million years ago, long before Atlantis sank 3,400 years ago.
The land mass might not be direct evidence of Atlantis, but at least scientists are looking in the right general area. If they continue to explore the seabed in and around the North Sea (especially around Helgoland), I suspect they’ll begin finding traces of “the lost civilization.”

Updating the Therapists’ DSM Bible
Mental illness is often caused by troubled spirits from Earth’s shadow, a dark repository of our fears and animosities that have nowhere else to go, so they get trapped around our world.
The cosmos is a beautiful, loving place. It consists of life-energy that emerges from the source at the center of everything, which includes vitality and brilliant consciousness (love, honesty, trust, good-will….). Only in rare worlds like Earth do destructive thoughts cause problems in the cosmos… and what we call “mental illness.”
The DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) is used by psychiatrists and psychologists to sort through our disturbing thoughts and actions in order to make sense of our troubled thinking and to treat it, usually with therapy to change our thinking and pharmaceutical drugs to change our biology.
I’ve come to believe that mental illness is usually a spiritual problem that can be overcome with spiritual solutions like meditation and contemplative prayer. These are two ways that we humans can develop a loving relationship with the beautiful cosmos and its source, which shines brilliantly at the center of our being. As we meditate and pray contemplatively more and more often, the dramas of Earth (including mental illness) typically start to fade away.
The exceptions are the cases of mental illness that are clearly the result of faulty biology involving our hormones and neurochemistry… but I suspect those conditions are relatively few.
.
Foreign-accent syndrome
Imagine waking up and finding yourself speaking the same language but with a thick foreign accent. It happens… though not often. Only about 100 cases of “foreign accent syndrome” (FAS) were recorded by doctors last century.
Karen Butler of Oregon had dental surgery, and upon awakening spoke with a mixed accent of English, Irish, and other European cultures. She’s American through and through, has never been to Europe, and is puzzled (and rather delighted) by her new accent.
Science doesn’t know exactly what causes the syndrome, but the assumption is that it’s some sort of neurological disorder that might someday be better understood through brain scans.
It makes more sense to me that FAS is another example of the many invisible spiritual influences around us—more specifically, spirits. Many spirits are attracted to people who happen to be open and receptive at some subconscious level. (Ms. Butler might have had past lives in Europe?…)
I suspect that being anesthetized can open us up to spiritual influences. After all, it’s fairly common knowledge among spiritual researchers that drugs and alcohol can have that opening-up (or transpersonal) effect.
.
Combat killing and the human spirit
War is a time of terror and hatred for many of those involved… so when people die in war, their spirits exit their dead bodies and remain troubled in their thoughts and feelings. Sometimes they don’t go to the light paradise worlds where they would otherwise awaken after a more natural, peaceful death. They remain stuck near the Earth.
Many of the confused spirits feel themselves pulled into the living bodies of people nearby—soldiers—and I believe that those spirit attachments play a big role in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Soldiers sometimes return home from the battlefield bearing not just their luggage, but also invisible attached spirits brimming with terrible memories of war. Those memories boil over into the minds of the soldiers, causing nightmares, uncontrollable rage, and other troubles.
Not all war victims attach themselves to living humans, however; most probably go “to the light,” and some just get “lost” along the way.
Case in point: Arthur Moos, a German soldier blown up in the second world war.
.
Government: Society’s “Alpha”
I got some great inspirations about governments (and science) from an unlikely source. Regina read Robert Sapolsky’s A Primate’s Memoir for book club, and she thought I might enjoy it. Frankly, I went a little ape over it.
It’s about how baboons and other primates are similar to us humans. Similar reasons we enjoy life and get along with each other. Similar causes of stress and suffering when dealing with each other. Similar ways we vie for leadership and partnerships in the community. Similar appreciation of good leaders and contempt for bad leaders.
Sapolsky got a PhD in neuroendocrinology in order to get a better understanding of stress and steroid hormones like testosterone, and their interplay with social interactions among primates. He spent every summer for a quarter-century living with the same Savannah baboon troop in Kenya—working out of a leaky tent, an old jeep, and his scientific bag of tricks, including a blowgun to put the baboons quietly to sleep, a syringe to draw their blood, and a centrifuge to isolate the animals’ stress hormones for further study.
Needless to say, he and his team learned a lot about stressful conditions in the lives of primates, including us humans.
Getting to know the leadership dynamics in primate communities and the causes of stress among their members might just give us some clues on how to develop governments that can minimize stress in our lives and in our world… especially when enhanced with some timeless spiritual principles.
That prospect, along with a deeper study of Robert Sapolsky’s work, is the subject of the complete article.
.
So, those articles provide a general idea of the challenges and opportunities that science will continue to encounter in the coming decades as they keep chipping away at the shackles of time and space, and begin to see more and more the vast, living, superimposed cosmos.
