Overpopulation and Growth Economics: Humanity’s Cancer

Overpopulation and growth economics are to the human race what cancer is to the human body: runaway growth.

Overpopulation and economic growth are the result of carnal desires (lust) and materialistic desires (greed), respectively, on a personal basis and on a massive scale… boiling over into governments, businesses, and other organs of world society.

Overpopulation plagues poor countries, while growth economics is the scourge of rich countries.

How to contend with these two cancers of humanity?

The most comprehensive and complete solution would be a sudden spiritual awakening among all individuals—a deep, abiding knowledge that each of us is an eternal spark of infinite wisdom and love that inhabits this dense physical body, using it to navigate this dense illusory world we call Earth. If that spiritual knowledge could supersede the hormones and egos that drive much of human behavior today… if it could wash away the lust and greed… then overpopulation and growth economics would quickly disappear, and humans would find paradise.

Well, that’s not likely to happen anytime soon, eh?

So the only workable solution in today’s world is the Vitality Ratio, which looks at humanity from a completely new, more realistic perspective, and applies modern technology to monitoring the stability of social systems.
